Choose how to change the pronunciation:.To change the pronunciation of a single word: If the pronunciation is edited, a word indicates it. You can play through all the word categories or review by category with “Pronunciation check.” If you click the play button by a specific word, it plays all occurrences of that word in the book. You can review words that require pronunciation edits under “Pronunciation check” in the Audiobook text editor. Save changes: At the bottom, click Save Create audio file.Add a section to auto-narration: Select Include.Remove a section from auto-narration: At the top right, select Exclude.Tip: Text that's not assigned to a character is spoken by the default narrator.On Mac: Press ⌘ + 1 for the first character, press ⌘ + 2 for the second character, and so on, for the first 10 characters.On PC: Press Ctrl + 1 for the first character, press Ctrl + 2 for the second character, and so on, for the first 10 characters.Under "Additional Characters," select the character, or right-click the character and select Change Narrator.Highlight the dialogue that you want narrated by the character.Identify text spoken by each character:.Enter the character’s name and choose a voice and speed.Under “Additional Characters,” select Add.When you add a pause, you can find a square icon in the editable text that represents where the narration pauses.You can add pause lengths from 0.5 seconds to 2.0 seconds in 100 millisecond increments.You can use pauses for scene breaks and word emphasis.Add a pause: Below “Default narrator,” click Add a pause. Tip: It’s best to choose a narrator language that matches the book language.Under "Default Narrator," select the Down arrow.Change the voice and speed of the default narrator:.Find and replace: To the right of the search box, select More.
